Our little Janie is growing so fast. She is smiling, cooing, and becoming so much more aware of her new world. Molly has adjusted great to being the big sis and Ryan and I are also taking this whole parents of 2 better than I had imagined. I am one lucky lady to have such an amazing partner in life! Thanks Ryan for being an incredible hubby and daddy to me and the girls! We are blessed....
This summer has definitely had a lot of changes! I normally am in love with change...I know I know not the norm. (but am I ever near the norm??) This change however has been rough on me. I am thankful though that it has been rough, at the age of 27 I have learned a lot about myself in going through this. I never realized just how much I lack trust in others, myself, and unfortunately my God. (wow that was harder to write than I thought) I am not sure where this lack and struggle of trust comes from exactly but I am grateful that I have come to terms with identifying it. Having no control over what our future holds has really taught me to trust in my God more and to let go of all control! I am such a doof for letting this whole ordeal take over 2 years for the light bulb to go off. I get it now God....I need to trust you 100% and not just 90% like I have been.
As I write I am waiting on a call that will change the direction of our family. I am waiting to hear if I have been hired on as a teacher for this school year. The call was suppose to come yesterday but that day came and went and I have now been told it will be today. I am eagerly and hesitantly awaiting this call. If the call comes that I am hired a lot of changing will rapidly occur....classroom will need to be prepared before students come in 3 days! ahhhhh The girls will need to be become adjusted to the new nanny (okay okay, more me than them!) and Ryan and I will be moving out of the apartment and back into our home. Wow....I am exhausted just writing it. BREATHE.....
My prayer is for peace and direction....where or what ever that may be! Thank you God for being so patient with me.
(Ha....this post was just going to be pics of miss Janie. Opps!) So here are some shots from Janie's "welcome to the world party" that our sweet Celia took.

Happy Birthday Molly...Thank you for being mine and filling my heart and home with Joy each and everyday! Keep on being you!!!!
Love your Momma
How can a heart so full of joy be so heavy...
The past 5 weeks have been pure bliss!!! Janie is such a joy and brings so much happiness to this family. Being a mother of two is a busy life however the love and joy that comes from caring for these 2 ladies is unmeasurable!! I know that being a mother is what God created me to be....and I praise his name for giving me the ability and opportunity. Staying home with Molly these past 2 years as been a dream. Taking a break from my career has not been difficult at all! Not having "things" has not been a struggle either. I never once regretted the decision and the sacrifices we have had to make to make it possible. My dream and hope was to be able to stay home with Miss Janie as well. Unfortunately I do not think that is in our future. God has a plan for our lives...I know this and I working towards accepted it as well. Having "faith" when life is the hardest is so difficult but I am determined to do so.
This is when being away from our families is the so difficult! Today I have to complete the task of taking the girls to meet their new nanny. Although I know this lady is an amazing nanny she isn't their mother and accepting this is so much harder than I ever imagined. My prayer is that I can come to terms with the new direction in my life and that my heart would stop breaking. I know women all over leave their children each day to work and that does not take away from them being a good mother....I just know my passion. And that passion has been and always will be to stay home with my kiddos. So to those stay at home mothers out there....give your kiddos an extra hug today and say a prayer for all those mom's who have to leave their children each day.

Oh Baby Time!!!
Our last photo as a family of 3.
The house has been "nested" all it can be, bags are packed, Molly is asleep not aware of the change that is about to happen, and we are ready to roll!!! I can't believe the time has come for us to finally meet this little miracle that has been growing inside of me.
I am so happy to finally know what we will be calling this child rather than "Sparky"!! Hopefully in the next few hours Ryan and I can come to an agreement on the baby's name. After being a mother for the past 2 years I am simply amazed at how much I love each stage of development. Just when I think I have found my favorite stage the next one is even better. Molly has been a true joy to parent and watch her grow into the spunky wild joy she is!!! That excites me so much about this new life....wondering what the personality will be like.
I am also a little anxious mixed with excitement to see how Miss Molly does with this new life. I do not foresee her being jealous of the baby but the overly excitement that will be expressed and possibly turn into injury for poor little "Sparky"! She absolutely adores babies and wants to love them to pieces! Hopefully "Sparky" is a tough one.
This past week I have tried to soak up every moment I had with Molly as our only child! She has grown so much this past week it seems. This is such an exciting yet sad realization that our little lady is growing up way too fast! The phrases and pretty much sentences she says blow me away! I am amazed at how much she learns just from playing. Ryan and I decided to try and take her to see a movie for the first time. Of course we both thought that she wouldn't last 30 minutes! Boy did she prove us wrong, she sat and watched all but the last 10 minutes of Toy Story 3. Ryan and I both loved watching her eat her popcorn as she was completely involved in watching the movie. This was a great night to spend as our little family of 3.
Our Spunky Punky!
Oh and my mom and I have been crafting and sewing this weekend! I am so happy to have finally completed a sewing project!!! Here they are...."Sparky's" new leggings made from target $2.00 socks!! Thanks to the talented lady http://raechelmyers.blogspot.com/ and her instructions I was able to make these with ease!!!

One talented Momma!
I can't believe just how talented my mother is!!! I have always known she had some awesome talent in the design arena however I never knew just how far that went. If I really think about it both of her parents were very creative individuals. My grandfather was always "making" things...airplane models, industrial things, as well as painting. My grandmother....lets just say she was a rock star when it came to sewing and quilting!!! Biggest regret of my life was not learning such amazing traits from her.
So as I have been busy "nesting" I wanted to purchase some different art for the baby's room. Of course where did I first look....Etsy! My favorite place in the world to shop. As I was telling my mom of my plans she said email me pictures of the art you like and I will paint them for you. This was so exciting for many reasons. 1) My mom would be making them and that is just special to me! 2) Its FREE for me. ;) Yes I am willing to admit that I tend to be cheap. 3) Custom art for the baby's room! (who wouldn't like that!) One more surprise....I figured she would paint 2 pieces of art for the room. Oh no...she went painting crazy and has made 5 awesome pieces of art for "Sparky". Here they are! I can't wait for them to come so we can hang them in the room. Thanks Mom for being just so awesome!!!

"Capturing" my belly....

So my little family is incredibly blessed to have a little lady in our lives with such raw talent in capturing moments for us! Celia is just 15 years old with no training and already has a passion and talent that amazes me. Thank you Celia for being so awesome to us and giving us memories to cherish for years to come! Not only is she a rock star photographer she is also one amazing babysitter that my child adores. ;) Can't beat that! Here are some of the highlights from our latest session with her!
